Refund Policy
At IslandSport, customer satisfaction is our top priority. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a return and refund option, subject to the terms and conditions detailed below.
1. Conditions of Eligibility for Return
You can return an item purchased on our site provided you meet the following criteria:
- The item has not been used, worn, washed or altered.
- The item is returned in its original packaging, with all tags intact.
- The return request must be made within 14 days of receiving your order.
2. Products Not Eligible for Return
Some products are not eligible for return, such as:
- Personalized items (e.g., jerseys with printed names or numbers).
- Items on sale or on sale, except in cases of manufacturing defect.
3. Return Process
Here are the steps to follow to initiate a return:
- Contact our customer service at islandsport.ca@gmail.com , specifying your order number, the reason for the return and providing proof of purchase (required for return acceptance).
- After validating your request, we will send you a prepaid return label or give you the necessary instructions to return the item.
- Carefully pack the item in its original packaging and return it to the address provided.
- Once the item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the acceptance or rejection of the return.
4. Return Costs
- If the return is due to a manufacturing defect or an error on our part, the return costs will be our responsibility.
- In case of return for personal reasons (change of mind, size error, etc.), the return costs will be borne by the customer.
5. Return Processing Time
Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it. It may take up to 7 business days to process your return. You will receive an email informing you whether your return has been approved or rejected.
6. Reimbursement
If the return is validated, we will proceed with the refund according to the following terms:
- The refund will be made via the payment method used during the purchase.
- The amount will be credited to your account within 5 to 10 business days, depending on the bank or payment service provider.
- Initial delivery charges will not be refunded, except in the case of a manufacturing defect or error on our part.
7. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different product or size, we invite you to return the item for a refund and place a new order.
8. Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, please follow these steps:
- Contact our customer service at islandsport.ca@gmail.com within 7 days of receipt, attaching photos of the problem.
- We will replace the item or issue a full refund, including delivery charges.
9. Cancellation of Order
Orders can only be cancelled if they have not yet been shipped and the item has not been personalized. If the item is personalized, you can cancel the order within 24 hours of confirmation.
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us promptly at islandsport.ca@gmail.com . If the item has already been shipped, you will need to process a return once you receive the item.
10. Legal Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with current legislation, you have the right to cancel your purchase regarding returns and refunds, specifically in the context of distance selling. Local laws and consumer protection regulations apply in the event of a dispute.
